Saigon, Vietnam

I spent over a year in Bali. This year was one of the most turbulent – personally and business-wise – in my entire life. In Bali I answered a lot of personal spiritual, health and business questions; however, the laid-back life made me procrastinate and I even didn’t notice it. After my last trip to HK, I decided to make a move. (more…)

It’s a good rainy morning here in Bali. It’s been a while since I last blogged. The thing is, my ideas and visions became too thin and I am not sure that people reading my blog would benefit from them. Now that I am leaving my closed shell again, I will start sharing ideas that are not mine but fascinate me in many ways until I come up with something that is somewhat interesting to me. So here we go.

Singapore

March 15, 2012

I am finally on my way to my dream Island of Bali and I am slowly stripping my clothes the closer I am (Singapore is my connector). Sweater, jacket and shoes moved to the plastic bag with a bottle of Chivas purchased at Duty Free shop for 30$ (Over a 100$ in Bali) and replaced by a pair of flip flops, T-shirt and shorts. Back to Basics. Back to my lifestyle, and back to work. Today I just quickly wanted to mention How I get my Videos done and where I find resources for different projects for my business.

First of all I would like you to watch Egoistic Presentation video that has been done for me:

Guangzhou, China

It’s been 4 years for me in China and I met enormous amount of really interesting people and heard some really crazy success stories. The other day I met some really cool guys from “The Elevator Life“. Nik and Tim moved to China 2 years ago right after college graduation and after makings some expensive mistakes they are back with fresh new ideas and now became biggest importers of Portland and Washington wines to China and they bring Western Brands to Southern China backed by Western and Chinese VCs. We had a blast a couple of days ago and I was overwhelmed with enthusiasm and energy these 2 guys have. Make sure you read their blog. They could be your great inspiration and fantastic source of information if you decide to come to China in search of opportunities. (more…)

Shenzhen, China

Here I am in China again. Most of stuff is done in Hong Kong and 2 busy weeks ahead in Shenzhen and Beijing to meet people, pack and sell some things and back to Paradise Island of Bali. It’s really cold in Shenzhen. Rain and +9 degrees Celsius damages my productivity and stresses my warm weather spoiled body. It has been 2 months since I left Shekou neighbouhood here in Shenzhen, but so many variables had changed. Especially The ones I could see by looking at High buildings that grew 20-30 stories high taking place of some street food restaurants and DVD sellers.  Around 20% of retail vendors on my street changed. New clothes shop instead of Italian restaurant, new International food stores and new Chinese businesses that took place of hair salons and pet stores. It happens really quickly. Sometimes I think people that open retail businesses here are  trying to copy more successful model next door and open a less attractive copy and hope to make a sale. I really doubt that they had any business plan at all. No budget written on napkin, no research, no nothing. “Let’s copy this store and make money.” Everyday model of Asia. “VP”
