It was almost 3 years ago when I first met Huang. It was in one of the shady places along “Chicken Street” on the back alley in Shenzhen. She looked different. She didn’t look like many other girls. Not beautiful, overweight and with happy eyes. She bought me a drink and we were drinking buddies that nigh and ended up in a night club. That was the end of story. Over these 3 years I met her 3-4 times and we just drank, hugged and laughed.

Hong Kong November 29, 2011

I hit the road 8 years ago and never look back. What really amazes me in immigration, is quality of people. I am fortunate to meet high quality people along my journey. Last night I have been to HK and met extraordinary 2 chaps. One is a father of 2 that is moving to UK, London, and one that moved to Asia 35 years ago and never left. We had a few beers and sat at the beach talking about past and future, about goods and bars, about dos and don’ts.

What was really exciting was to hear stories of 2 very different people…
